A little bit about us...

The UDistrict Minyan – Ohel Yoseph Yitzchak is an Orthodox synagogue serving our diverse local community. We provide a welcoming home for praying, learning, and spiritual growth. The UDistrict minyan welcomes Jews from all walks of life, and welcomes visitors from all over the world.

Rabbi Shimon Emlen, Rabbi Mendy Levitin, and Rabbi Dr. Joseph Tractman provide spiritual leadership and daily classes for our community .

Most classes are 7PM or 8 PM. on ZOOM only. Contact Chaplain Matthew Perry at info@udistrictminyan.org for our schedule of classes, ZOOM information, and to contact our shamash or rabbis.

Our Jewish Library includes hundreds of fascinating books to enhance the mitzvah of learning!

Prayer Services

Prayers follow orthodox traditions according to Nusach Ari Z”L , with prayer books and instructions available in Hebrew, Hebrew/English and Hebrew/Russian.

Saturday morning 10 AM - Shacharis every week followed by a kiddush meal. Doors open 9:30 AM for Coffee, Cake, and Torah

Location

We are located at 4525 19th Ave NE, Seattle in the heart of the UDistrict. Limited parking is available from the Alley behind our building (between 19th and 18th Ave NE)

Visitor Information

UDistrict Minyan welcomes visitors from all over the world. Although we are not within the North Seattle Eruv, we are close to several hotels including University Inn, Graduate Hotel, Residence Inn Seattle University District, Watertown Hotel, and the Silver Cloud University District.

Kosher meats, bread, wine and a wide variety of products are available locally at

Most grocers in the Seattle area including Whole Foods and Safeway carry many kosher products.

All Seattle kosher restaurants and services are under the supervison of the Seattle Vaad www.seattlevaad.org.  Please be aware that these are the ONLY kosher supervised restaurants in the area.
